You will learn techniques to conceive and create 3D textile artworks, as well as the tools, planning and fabrication to build an exhibition are the backbone of these sessions.
Sample works produced from these sessions will help in forming an exhibition being held as part of Ipswich’s Galvanized Festival 2023.
The ultimate goal is to inspire attendees to participate in the Ipswich Threads exhibition planned for 2024, to celebrate 150 years since the first mill company in Ipswich was formed.
